COMEDY LINE-UP ANNOUNCED & LOADS MORE FOR BEARDED THEORY

COMEDY LINE-UP ANNOUNCED & LOADS MORE FOR BEARDED THEORY

Bearded Theory returns to Derbyshire’s idyllic countryside for our
sixth spring festival, all set in the enchanting surroundings of
Kedleston Park, from May 17th to May 19th 2013, with the option of
extending your stay on the Thursday before.

We are very proud to team up with multi-award winning Midlands
Funhouse Comedy who will be scheduling comedians to perform at
“Later at the Lock Inn”. The evenings will be compared by Bethany
Black on Friday and John Warburton on Saturday, joined by five star
comedians Pierre Hollins, Ben Schofield, Wes Zaharuk, Mark Rough,
Jonny & the Baptists and Sean Percival. This is the first of its kind
for Bearded Theory and hopefully, bar any cancellations, will be the
final announcement for this year’s line-up.

The Lock Inn stage will be located in the Hay Wood Campsite offering
mix match of entertainment from theatre performances, jamming
sessions, up & coming new talent, reggae DJ, cabaret and late night
comedy taking us into the early hours. The area will be complimented
by a Cocktail Bar, Chill Out Café, outdoor seating area and it will
remain open later than all the other stages. Further 2013 improvements
include an expanded Live in Vehicle field allowing for a separate area
for campervans & caravans, free hot serviced showers for all
campsites, 2 self-contained real ale bars operated by local award
winning brewery Thornbridge, picnic areas, tranquil gardens, stunning
site art, 2 communal campfires, craft markets and fabulous organic &
affordable food concessions from around the world.

All live in vehicle passes from all ticket agents have now SOLD OUT
completely. See Tickets and Gigantic have SOLD OUT of their ticket
allocations and only a handful of tickets remain with Quay Tickets.
The Ticket Sellers are this year’s primary ticket agent due to them
not charging postage, and they now have less than 1000 tickets
available. Please do not leave it too late to buy tickets; we will be
selling out again!

Our musical offering is better than ever before with old and new
favourites taking to the stages including:- LEVELLERS, ASIAN DUB
FOUNDATION, REVEREND & THE MAKERS, NEW MODEL ARMY, STIFF LITTLE
FINGERS, SETH LAKEMAN, THE FARM, A GUY CALLED GERALD, PEATBOG FAERIES,
NEDS ATOMIC DUSTBIN, KARINE POLWART, RUTS DC, QUIREBOYS, MACKA B,
SUBGIANT, SHOOGLENIFTY, MAROON TOWN, DESTROYERS, THE HUMMING BIRDS,
CITIZEN FISH, GALLON DRUNK to name but a few appearing across the Main
Stage, Magical Sounds, Tornado Town, Lock Inn, Something Else Tea Tent
and Secret Rabbit Cabaret. With our ticket prices consistently lower
than our competitors who provide a similar offering and our line up
stronger with better infrastructure than similar priced events it will
once again be a fantastic yet affordable start to this year’s summer
season.
