Tickets go on sale September 10th at 9am

THANK YOU to everyone that came and that was part of Bearded Theory 2016. We firmly believe this was our best festival to date and the reviews and comments from attendees have been brilliant.

We are delighted to confirm that Bearded Theory returns on May 25th to 28th 2017 to celebrate our 10th anniversary. To commence the celebrations of reaching this milestone we are opening the gates at 10am on Thursday May 25th and programming a full afternoon and evening of music on the Pallet with some amazing production. The Woodland, Something Else Tea Tent and the new Cinema will also be open. Our first line up release is scheduled to be released before the end of year. For clarity the Children’s Village will not be open until Friday.

We don’t have too many improvements to address after this year’s festival but we will be increasing the toilet and camping provision following this year’s feedback. The toilets will be supplied by the same contractor which ensures they remain clean and tidy throughout. The fairground will only offer Victorian rides and the fair has a music ban on the cheesy 90s techno music. The Maui Wai will be providing a late night “disco” from midnight until the early hours on Friday and Saturday. Convoy Cabaret also makes a welcomed return and we are looking into programming some comedy on one of the stages after dark. Everything else will remain the same and the good stuff like the free to use Children Village, pub priced bars and Earth Area will all return.

Please let us know on our forum or social media who you would like to see play in 2017, we have started to put offers out to bands and DJ`s, so it would be great to see your suggestions.

Enrolments to the Festival School which takes place on the Friday of the festival will go live on September 10th at 9am when tickets go on general sale. Please note that you will need your ticket reference number before enrolling your child. The Festival School can assist in taking your child out of education without being fined. For full details of our amazing School please go here

We hope you enjoy the rest of your summer and we look forward to seeing you in May for our 10th Birthday.
