Absolutely splendiferous weekend topped of by one of the best Stranglers performances I've ever seen (and I've seen a few!)
Other highlights:
Nine Below Zero, Seth Lakeman, True Deceivers, Leatherat (twice), Mungo Jerry, Ric Sanders, Rodney Brannigan, Bad Shepherds, Martin Turner's Wishbone Ash, The Creperie and their fantastic brandy coffees, top notch shopping village, the atmosphere.
Downers:
So many overlaps that I missed Tiny Tin Lady, Band from County Hell, Outcast Band, Christians, most of Neck and Chris Difford. Second hand CD stall (A New Day) trying to charge £12.00 for their CD's - most available on e-bay for less that a fiver. They didn't sell much! Karnataka being a no-show.
Great to see you there. It was a fantastic weekend. Shame you missed Chris Difford. He was probably my highlight of the weekend even if it meant missing the first 30 minutes of The Stranglers.
