We hope you had a fantastic summer and are now recharging your batteries ready for next year's festival season. We had an excellent time at the other festivals we attended and are now pushing ahead with planning Bearded Theory 2012.
We are close to securing a new brewery to supply some fantastic real ales and ciders in 2012. We have the gruelling task of having to taste the breweries' offerings in January along with the winner of the bar competition on our forum.
We have already announced a good chunk of the bands and DJs confirmed to play at next year's festival, but as a reminder we have listed them below. The remaining bands including the unannounced headliners will be released over the next couple of months.
We have already sold 35% of the ticket allocation and the festival's capacity will not be increasing in 2012. As we will not be selling day tickets, the main arena will not close, making everything a little bit more relaxed.

As some of you may know, Angel Gardens have decided to change their cafe this year, and after lots of chats and careful deliberation they are proud to announce Kindred Cafe. Not only will it serve teas and coffees, but it will have a real focus on providing child friendly breakfasts and snacks.
Also part of the space will be an activity table for free creative work, books and games for children to engage with. With a shabby chic interior, the theme will change yearly and this year will be an Alice in Wonderland theme, this theme will run into Angel Gardens too and also into the new Cabaret Tent.
This will be decorated to match the cafe and Angel Gardens as a whole, it will host larger activities such as Yoga, Tai Chi, Dance, Drama, Science Demonstrations, Performers, Kid's Discos and Karaoke, and on an evening it may show films too. There are also plans to host a Cabaret on Sunday evening, in which children and families can show the things they have learned over the weekend. With funky lighting, smoke machine and UV lights, you can expect some exciting performances and discos, and even UV painting parties.
