We are delighted to announce that Oxfam are running our stewarding teams in 2016. If you would like to apply please go to http://www.oxfam.org.uk/stewarding . We look forward to welcoming you into our team.
Each summer Oxfam provides a professional stewarding service to some of the UK's best music festivals. Having started with a small number of volunteers at Glastonbury Festival in 1993, the Oxfam Stewarding operation has grown over the past 20 years to become an essential and fun fundraising tool for the charity, engaging over 5000 steward volunteers each summer and raising approximately £1m for Oxfam's essential work worldwide. In 2014 Oxfam added Bearded Theory to their programme of festivals for the first time. Clare Williamson of Oxfam Stewarding says
"We are thrilled to be stewarding Bearded Theory this season. Some of our regular volunteers have been raving about it for years and it's a very popular choice. This year's line-up looks amazing - can't wait!"
Oxfam stewarding is a great way to enjoy a summer of festivals on a budget while raising money for a good cause. Applications open Tuesday 11 March and can be made via the Oxfam website: www.oxfam.org.uk/stewarding
